Blizzard Entertainment is currently looking for experienced Customer Service Representatives / Game Masters for our massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) World of Warcraft, and other Blizzard Entertainment games.

Game Masters serve as the direct link between Blizzard Entertainment and its fans, interacting with them through multiple contact channels. They play a vital role in the customer journey, aiding each step of the way by providing award-winning quality of service that ensures a seamless gaming experience.

Game Masters serve as the direct link between Blizzard Entertainment and its fans, interacting with them through multiple contact channels. They play a vital role in the customer journey, aiding each step of the way by providing award-winning quality of service that ensures a seamless gaming experience.

The ideal candidate is experienced in Customer Service and is highly motivated, with excellent interpersonal skills, as well as superb written and verbal communications skills in French and English. Flexibility is key, shift hours and days may vary as the Customer Service department is open 17 hours per day, 7 days per week.

Covid-19 Hiring Update: We’ve transitioned to a work-from-home model and we’re continuing to interview and hire during this time.

This role is expected to begin as a remote position, and we can consider fully remote if you are based in Ireland.

This is a fixed term contract for 12 months

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers with inquiries and issues relating to Blizzard Entertainment products and accounts via a chat-based client, ticket system and phone
  • Investigate and follow up on inquiries, responding and resolving in the most efficient manner possible
  • Provide information to customers on in-game related queries, account status, transactions, and technical problems

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a Customer Service or Support environment using problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Genuine passion for gaming – preferably in MMORPG style games and their communities
  • Working within teams and interacting with colleagues and customers from diverse backgrounds

Knowledge & Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Strong preference for candidates with knowledge of World of Warcraft: Shadowlands or Classic WoW
  • Ability to confidently navigate and leverage online resources for troubleshooting purposes
  • Ability to identify customer sentiment and respond to it appropriately
