Job description: A public sector organisation in Barnsley has a 6 month temporary opportunity for someone to take the role of Customer Service Improvement Officer.

Working from home, you will manage the process of taking customer feedback and information requests in line with statutory and service standards.

The organisation is looking for someone who can work in a fast paced, customer focused environment and who can demonstrate experience of handling complaints, coordinating responses and escalating issues as appropriate.

You’ll need excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate and influence stakeholders within the organisation. Previous experience of complaint handling in a commercial setting is essential along with the ability to handle conflict and manage customer expectations.

The role is full time 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm.
