*This client currently have x2 PMO positions open. One position relates to Dymanics 365 and the other more senior position is focused on Azure Devops.(Virtual Studio Team Suite)

A key member of the Programme team in the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations providing structure, control and co-ordination, of remote working resources, across the UK and Ireland.

Under the direction of the project managers and directly with the project leads, business leads and wider business stakeholders in the planning and delivery of the detailed activity, resource scheduling and co-ordination required in delivery the Programme plan.

Support the project managers in the timely identification, communication and mitigation of any resource conflicts and constraints that may present a risk to the delivery of the plan, tracking and reporting of resource activity and commitments, build and develop an excellent working relationship with the project team and key business stakeholders in the delivery of the above, active member of the project team, supporting colleagues and peers to help deliver the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations implementation

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Resource allocation, activity tracking and reporting…
  • Implementation of a mechanism to plan, track, monitor and report on resource allocation to activities within the defined structure and timeline of the Programme.
  • Monitoring resource allocation against their agreed time apportionment to the Programme.
  • Identifying ‘overloading’ of any resource in order to assist in mitigation of the associated risks.
  • Ensuring ‘fair’ scarce resource allocation across project streams
  • Collating and tracking of holiday / other commitments that may impact the scheduling and management of resource.
  • Managing the availability, schedule and activities of shared resource across business as usual and the Programme.
  • Finding the optimal time in busy schedules across the team for workshop / meetings with minimal conflict.

  • Ownership of the sending of invites for all workshops/activities required across workstreams as defined by the project manager.
  • Addressing resourcing conflicts directly with the business leads, Project Managers and key stakeholders across all activities.
  • Ownership and coordination of any workshop/activity date or time amendments as identified and approved.
  • Ownership of amendments to workshop attendees. Agreement, communication and monitoring thereof.
  • Ownership of the agile setting and publication of workshop agendas as provided by the consultants and business analysts.
  • Recording actual resource attendance in workshops against plan for reporting back to the PM’s.

THE PERSON:

  • 18-36 months experience in PMO and/or PA qualification an advantage
  • Experience of Microsoft Project or Project online an advantage
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all business levels and the ability to communicate clearly both in writing and verbally in English
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and planning skills: Ability to identify, analyse and define a problem, evaluate alternatives, find solutions and make a recommendation,
  • Excellent Excel skills: In order to dynamically structure, maintain, track and communicate resource activity across complex multi-faceted, parallel Programme streams with multiple variables
  • Previous experience ion resource Management: Ability to identify and make optimal use of resources and subsequent tracking of each resources task and time allocation and the ability to work in a self-sufficient manner, under the guidance of the project managers, whilst maintaining clear and open communication at all times.

Expected salary: €35000 – 40000 per year
